- Providing commercial advice across Mercury's wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS) development pipeline.
- Supporting strategic initiatives, due diligence, and commercial negotiations for new opportunities and partnerships.
- Collaborating with Developers, Project Managers, Treasury, and Wholesale teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in modelling and analysis.
- Leading the development of project and portfolio models, tools, and insights to support decision-making.
- Contributing to supply chain assessments, procurement strategies, and planning initiatives.
- ~5-7 years' experience in analytical and commercial roles, ideally in the power or renewables sector.
- A degree in engineering, economics, finance, or a related quantitative discipline (postgraduate qualifications a plus).
- Strong commercial modelling and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- A curious, inquisitive mindset - someone who doesn't just crunch numbers, but actively seeks out stakeholder perspectives and business context.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex problems into actionable insights.
