While your primary focus will be on capital reporting and modelling, you'll also gain exposure to a wide range of projects across the actuarial function.What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the delivery of capital reporting, forecasting, and performance insights for Suncorp New Zealand
  • Contributing to capital modelling that drives business decisions and profit outcomes
  • Preparing and analysing complex data sets and financial information
  • Presenting insights and findings to a range of stakeholders
  • Assisting with strategic reporting that shapes how we manage the business
  • Collaborating with actuarial colleagues on projects and ad-hoc work to broaden your expertise
What You Bring
  • A recent graduate or up to 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline
  • A genuine interest in pursuing Fellowship with the Actuaries Institute of Australia
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an eagerness to drive process improvements
  • Familiarity with tools such as Igloo, R, Python, SQL, SAS (desirable but not essential)
