Job Category: EngineeringJob Description:Te Tūranga | About the RoleSilver Fern Farms Pacific in Hastings is seeking a motivated and skilled person for the role of Engineering Team Leader. You'll be responsible for leading a team of skilled staff who ensure that key site equipment is maintained, safe, and reliable.Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of three to improve manufacturing equipment performance.
Ensure world-class reliability, compliance with laws, and company policies.
Drive site reliability through innovation and asset management plans.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and develop corrective measures.
Engage with Engineering and processing teams on reliability developments.
Incorporate Environmental, Health, Safety, and Wellbeing requirements.
Improve site machinery and equipment for high uptime and added value.

This role's work hours are 6.00am to 3.00pm, on a 45-hour working week that includes working Saturday and Sunday.In return, we offer:

Ōu Pūkenga | About YouThe successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

Independent worker with excellent communication and relationship skills.
Previous FMCG knowledge desirable
Knowledge of legislative compliance and reliability engineering.
Strong computer literacy.
Relevant trade qualification in mechanical and engineering practices.
Ability to perform RCFA, FMECA, RCM, and asset reliability analysis.
Understanding of reliability indicators like MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and OEE.
