You'll lead a capable and dedicated team, and work closely with our processing, compliance, and other teams to maintain a culture of collaboration and excellence.This role is your opportunity to:

Lead and support a team of skilled inspectors committed to quality, safety, and customer service.
Drive continuous improvement across systems and service delivery
Provide trusted technical guidance to your team and stakeholders
Help shape a positive team culture focused on collaboration and high performance.

What you'll bring to the role:

Strong technical expertise and practical experience in building inspections.
A Regulation 18 recognised qualification.
Current BCA competency- ideally across residential and commercial categories.
Deep understanding of the NZ building consent regulatory framework and local government environment.
Proven leadership capability with a genuine passion for developing others.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
