Our client are a well established Canterbury owned and operated civil contractor who take on everything from driveways & site works to large scale earthmoving, utilties and 3 waters projects. With a strong workload ahead they are looking to add another Site Manager to their team.You may be an experienced Site Manager or other construction leader looking to step into a new role.As a Site Manager you will take charge in the planning and delivery of projects. You'll be responsible for leading and overseeing the effective day-to-day management and efficient completion of projects.Your responsibilities will include:

Managing multiple sites
Management and supervision of all site personnel including subcontractors
Ensuring programmes of work and deadlines are met
Implementing and leading health and safety processes on site
Liaising with clients, councils and key stakeholders
Running pre-start meetings, site inductions and weekly site tool-box meetings
Coaching and mentoring site staff
Carrying out quality and safety checks
Commitment to zero-harm

Successful applicants will have:

Solid understanding of NZS3910:2013
Experience in construction leadership
Planning, programming and coordination skills
The ability to lead, coach and adhere to safety protocols and best practice
Effective communication skills
Strong knowledge of civil works and machinery

Advantages:
