We have two dynamic main sites who are growing their capacity in their ICU departments.About the districts:Dunedin Hospital and the lifestyle opportunities availableDunedin hospital offers a helicopter retrieval service along with many more opportunities to learn and become involved in. We are a tertiary centre and have access to a gym and library on site, access to in-house training and development as well as access to clinical resources. The botanic gardens and Hagley Park offer convenient central green spaces.Christchurch is also a haven for hiking and biking and offers close proximity to world class ski fields.About YouYou will be a highly skilled and experienced Allied Health Professional, with expertise in Social Work, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language or Pharmacy. You'll need to be holding a New Zealand Annual practising certificate, and possess a minimum of 5 years experience ( with knowledge of working in critical care). You will be someone experienced in working wsith people who have complex needs, and have the ability to support tyhe learning of others in an area of expertise.To be successful in this role you will have:
ICU experience or critical care exposure ( this is essential)
A minimum 5 years experience as a qualified Allied Health Professional
The ability to work collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary team
Enthusiasm and confidence in sharing your knowledge across your discipline
Be eligible for New Zealand Registration
New Zealand or Australian citizenship/residency or an appropriate visa to be eligible to live and work
