We're looking for a highly organised and strategic individual to join our team as Logistics, Planning & Procurement Controller. This key role ensures our supply chain is lean, responsive, and future-proofed - from sourcing materials to delivering finished product across New Zealand. You'll lead the logistics, planning, production, and procurement functions to support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- logistics operations and planning for optimal delivery performance
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business goals
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing
- Lead supply chain analysis and forecasting to anticipate demand
- Manage inventory and stock levels across multiple sites
- Drive system improvements and process standardisation
- Proven experience in leading and supervising high performing teams
- Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement leadership
- Experience loading trucks using overhead gantry cranes and Forklifts
- Strong knowledge of planning systems and inventory control
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement focus
- ERP experience (e.g., SAP or similar systems) is a bonus
