Job Description:Mō te tūranga | About the roleThis is a 2-year fixed-term, part-time position (0.4 FTE, 16 hours per week) supporting the Waste Prevention portfolio through:
  • Coordinating stakeholder hui and providing administration for in-person/online meetings and events.
  • Preparing drafts for internal and external communications.
  • Coordinating group submissions to consultations.
  • Supporting research with stakeholders, such as contacting stakeholders with surveys.
  • Other administrative tasks and minute taking as needed.

  • Passion for the health and wellbeing of our environment and people
  • Knowledge of waste prevention principles (waste hierarchy, zero waste)
  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti principles
  • Experience building relationships
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Eye for detail – high degree of accuracy when undertaking tasks

  • 2+ years’ experience providing administrative support in a complex office environment
