Their Enterprise Architecture team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT services, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose, innovative, and aligned with modern technology trends.About the RoleAs an Applications Architect, you will play a key role in investigating, designing, and implementing technology solutions that improve both staff and customer experiences. You will provide solution design leadership across IT projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and principles such as Secure by Design, Cloud First, and Customer First.This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, enterprise and domain architects, and delivery teams to translate requirements into robust solutions. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of architectural frameworks, policies, and standards, while providing technical leadership and specialist support across the technology landscape.Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead solution design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
Provide architectural guidance across projects to ensure designs align with enterprise standards.
Define integration and security requirements, following a Security by Design approach.
Document solutions and provide advice on process transformation and technology adoption.
Participate in forums and architectural meetings, contributing to long-term technology direction.

Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience in delivering solution architecture services.
Strong background in requirements gathering, system integration, API management, and data design.
Expertise with AWS, Microsoft 365, and the Microsoft technology stack.
Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
