The Information Management and Compliance (IM&C) team needs to hire a Hamilton based contractor for up to six months. This is to help them manage their normal duties while also supporting the “Digital Reboot” project.
The role is for an experienced Information Management Data Analyst who will focus on core IM&C tasks like:
- Records management: Providing daily support and troubleshooting for IT support tickets.
- Information governance: Advising business units on best practices.
- Compliance: Helping with monitoring, reporting, and investigations related to legal requests (LGOIMA).
- Audits and quality: Supporting internal audits and data quality reviews.
- Process improvement: Assisting with documentation and improving processes.
- Proven background in information and records management
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, especially MS Teams and SharePoint
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and standards (e.g., Public Records Act, ISO 15489)
- Excellent communication abilities with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Capable of working autonomously while balancing multiple priorities
- Preparation of monitoring and compliance reports
- A dynamic and fast-paced programme environment
