In every aspect of our work, we are committed to helping whānau be the best they can be.He kōrero mō te tūranga | About the RoleThis position is responsible for managing tenancies within our Housing Service. As a Tenancy Manager, you will work closely with our housing navigation teams to support whānau in their journey toward long-term, sustainable housing.Key responsibilities include conducting property inspections, handling lease documentation, managing tenant financial contributions, overseeing tenancy turnover, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve positive housing outcomes. Throughout all tasks, you'll be expected to uphold and promote Emerge Aotearoa's health, safety, and wellbeing policies.This is a full-time, permanent position based in Hamilton, working Monday to Friday.This role offers a salary band ranging from $$74,745.93 to $$79,525.02 per annum. Placement within this band will be determined by the extent to which candidates meet or exceed the relevant qualifications and experience requirements.He kōrero mōu | About YouWe are seeking a proactive and compassionate individual with a minimum of two years' experience in tenancy management, ideally within the social housing or property management sector in New Zealand. A solid understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act is essential, along with prior local experience in tenancy management.If you also bring the following, we would love to hear from you:
  • A New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management (Level 4)
  • A full New Zealand driver's licence and valid working rights
  • Experience engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances
  • Previous experience in community services or the homelessness sector
