Operations Coordinator - Chiller Meat SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator - Chiller Meat Specialist with extensive knowledge in the field to be part of our busy, fast paced, leading food Distribution Company, in New Zealand.Bidfood has an opportunity for a Permanent Full Time position, in our Chiller Warehouse team, based at our distribution centre in Islington, Christchurch.This role is full time, with a minimum 30 hours guaranteed. Days of work will be, Monday to Friday, and every second Saturday. Hours of work will be 6.00am - 2.30pm. However, during busy periods, there may be a requirement to work later hours, and occasionally night shifts.Hourly rate $29.66What you need to bring to Bidfood

Minimum 3 years experience in stock control including inventory management, stock takes, investigating discrepancies in stock levels, making stock adjustments and correcting variances.
Minimum 3 years experience in Fresh & Chilled Meat Management with knowledge in cuts of meat and location, stock reconciliation, inventory level issues, reduction of stock loss and streamlining the stock through reviews, assessment, resolution, procedures and collaboration among sales/purchasing/despatch departments.
Minimum 3 years experience in storing meats and poultry as per food safety and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) compliance requirements with documented success in conducting both internal audits and external regulatory audits.
Minimum 3 years experience with Food and safety compliance with proven evidence successfully attending internal and external food safety audits.
Full knowledge of food control plan & HACCP. Bidfood has a HACCP based Food Control Plan (FCP), developed to meet the legal obligations and requirements of the Food Safety Act 2014.
Skilfully managing the flow of goods vehicles, and personnel in a food distribution centre with a similar warehouse environment to ensure smooth operations, optimise space utilisation, minimise congestion, and enhance overall productivity.
Established track record of enhancing accuracy and efficiency in warehouse collection and packaging systems.
Proven experience in accurately receiving in purchase order documentation.
Ability to work unsupervised and evidence of that.
Forklift/Reach truck certificate and experience of working on Aisle Master would be an advantage
Effectively lead and supervise chiller team members
Be physically fit, with frequent heavy lifting of up to 25 kg.
