As NZ's largest recruitment company with a local presence, AWF work with New Zealand employers to recruit the people they need - We specalise in matching talented individuals like you with the top employers in Hawkes Bay.Our Napier based client is looking for a full time Permenant Injection moulding operator to join their tight knit team!***Only experienced skilled Injection Mould operators will be considered for this role ***Key Responsibilities:

Operate injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products
Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and adjust as needed
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of machines and moulds
Set up and change moulds, adjust machine settings, and optimize production parameters
Inspect parts for quality, identify defects, and take corrective action
Record production data, track inventory, and report any issues or concerns
Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintain a safe and organized work area, following company safety policies and procedure

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in injection moulding operations
Basic knowledge of injection moulding processes, machine operation, and maintenance
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and schematics
Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift, and maneuver equipment/materials as required
Basic computer skills and ability to record production data accurately
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Must be able to Pass a Pre employment Drug and Alcohol screening
