This is achieved through providing superior delivery and timely recruitment service that supports all levels of the business. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruitment and making continuous improvement in the delivery of recruitment.The successful individual will enjoy managing end-to-end recruitment, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and can operate comfortably in a fast-paced environment. Bringing structure, energy, and sourcing expertise, that ensures a high-quality candidate experience, helping us maintain our high hiring standards. This role also requires the successful individual to provide an excellent people service, and demonstrating the ability to remain resilient, optimistic and positive when faced with pressure and change as well as to be supportive of any change.Significant Working RelationshipsInternal

Position ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including but not limited to creation of position descriptions, advertising, candidate screening, organising interviews, coordinating testing, organising candidate documentation for managers, reference checking, coordinating the offer process, across multiple roles both technical and non-technical.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and shape effective hiring strategies.
  • Write and post compelling job advertisements across relevant platforms.
  • Actively source candidates via LinkedIn and other channels to build talent pipelines.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure timely communication and feedback between candidates and interviewers.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting via our applicant tracking system.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing as needed.
  • Create and maintains accurate filing procedures for recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Manages a seamless and professional candidate recruitment experience through timely communication and updates.
  • Assists in the preparation of offers of employment and assists with the onboarding process to facilitate preparation of all new starter documentation and system set-up.
  • Assist with HR-related onboarding activities and follow up with any new hires regarding onboarding tasks.
  • Provide a first point of contact for new starters to answer initial questions, ensuring effective employee care and a great start into the organisation.
  • Engage the services of recruitment agencies and manage delivery on nominated jobs.
Graduate Recruitment
  • Support the delivery of our graduate recruitment programme, including, reviewing the current programme and working with the team to redefine the graduate programme.
  • Building relationships with universities, student networks, and Summer of Tech.
  • Coordinating and organising careers fairs, events, and application campaigns such as Summer of Tech.
  • Managing application tracking, interviews, and communication with graduate candidates.
  • Contributing to onboarding and early engagement activities to create a strong graduate experience.
Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Review and assess current recruitment practices, templates, and communication workflows.
  • Update and standardise recruitment documentation including but not limited to interview guides, process checklists, templates, and candidate communication.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend best practice changes to improve efficiency, consistency, and experience for all stakeholders.
  • Support the development of a scalable recruitment toolkit that can grow with the business.
  • Identifies and proposes opportunities for continuous improvement to HR recruitment systems and processes.
  • Contributes to the realisation of the department’s goals by facilitating supportive, timely and value-added solutions for the business
Policy and Procedures
  • Maintenance of HR related wiki pages specifically with respect to recruitment administration and processes, keeping pages up to date with current information.
  • Ensure excellent familiarity with recruitment policies and procedures, interpreting them in response to questions from employees and managers or directing queries to the appropriate HR team member as necessary.
  • Proposes improvements to recruitment policies and procedures to ensure they are correct, current, easy to follow and supportive of the business objectives.
HR Support
  • Provides HR support to the HR team as and when required, particularly during low recruitment periods, including assistance with managing processes, HR administration, and any HR projects.
Communication and Reporting
  • Communicates openly with the HR team to share experiences and improve knowledge of all team members.
  • Provide timely, accurate advice and assistance to employees regarding recruitment queries and processes.
  • Assist the HR team to communicate updates and new information to the business.
Work Planning and Management
  • Manage daily tasks and projects to ensure work is completed consistent with agreed priorities and deadlines.
  • Participate in planning meetings as required.
  • Attend meetings with team and stakeholders to give timely updates on work progress.
Occupational Health and Safety
  • Responsible for taking reasonable care to ensure own safety and health at work, and to avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person at work.

Person SpecificationQualifications and Certifications
  • A relevant qualification or certification
Experience and SkillsRequired:
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced internal recruitment or agency setting (ideally within tech, consulting, or professional services).
  • Excellent sourcing skills using platforms like Seek, LinkedIn Recruiter and proactive search strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles with competing deadlines and priorities. Strong planning and organising skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Aptitude for dealing with people.
  • Clear and engaging written and verbal communication.
  • Organised, with great attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
Desirable:
  • Familiarity with recruiting technical roles such as developers, consultants, data engineers
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems
  • Headhunting experience
  • Understanding of or interest in integration and data technologies.
