The role:Based at our recently renovated head office in Palmerston North, the primary responsibility of the Accounts Administrator is to support the accounts payable and receivable functions for the business to support the correct payment and distribution of invoices.This fixed term role (until 10 April 2026) includes the processing of month end and reconciliation of receipting and payment processes and support to the entire Finance function.Some of your responsibilities will include:Administration of all Accounts Payable invoices
  • Data entry processing
  • Processing of payment runs
  • Supplier queries
Processing of Accounts Receivable payments;
  • Administration of all payment requisition payment
  • Processing of refunds
  • Daily bank reconciliation
Month End;
  • Completion of monthly reconciliation process
Administration;
  • Direct Debits
About you:You take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. To thrive in this role, you'll bring a natural confidence with numbers, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while staying on top of deadlines. Just as importantly, you'll have a proactive attitude, strong integrity, and great communication skills that help you work well with others.Ideally you will have:
  • 3+ years previous experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Able to appropriately handle sensitive information
  • Strong varied experience with accounting software
