In this key role, you will ensure the accurate development, coordination, and maintenance of all documents within our electronic document management system. You will play an important part in supporting quality, safety, and compliance by ensuring documents are well managed, authorised appropriately, and easily accessible to staff.As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4For further information about the administration and clerical pay equity settlement please follow the link below:About the RoleAs a Document Controller, you will:
Maintain the Women's and Children's document register, including reviewing and reporting on document status.
Collaborate with leaders across multidisciplinary teams to support effective document management.
Work closely with the Corporate Quality and Patient Safety team, clinical reviewers, and other document controllers.
Develop new documents, clinical forms, policies, and procedures, as well as provide guidance and education to users.
Support staff in applying appropriate organisational and divisional policies and procedures.
Carry out other relevant duties within the scope of the role as agreed with your manager.
About youEssential Skills & Experience
Proven proficiency in managing databases.
Advanced administrative experience with excellent attention to detail.
Strong experience in formatting documents across a variety of formats and styles.
Ability to maintain documentation standards and version control.
Advanced computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Visio) and Adobe.
Desired
Experience in the health sector or within a large, complex organisation.
Background in technical writing, publishing, or document production.
