We are currently seeking passionate, committed individuals for the following full-time, permanent and fixed-term residential support worker roles. All roles involve 24/7 rostered shifts in supportive, values-led environments:

1 x Permanent Full-Time Youth Support Worker - The Bach, Albany (Youth Respite Service)

A community-based respite service for young people aged 16-25 years to prevent exacerbating the risk of needing an admission to an inpatient mental health service or alcohol and drug treatment. You'll support youth under the care of community mental health teams, offering care and guidance to avoid institutionalisation.

1 x Permanent Full-Time Support Worker - Rathger Service, Henderson

Providing 24-hour support to individuals with an intellectual disability and an Axis 1 mental health diagnosis in a community-based residential setting. This is a hands-on role that requires empathy and patience in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

1 x Permanent Full-Time Support Worker - Allan Duffy Recovery Centre, Northcote

Provide intensive support to clients with severe, enduring, and complex mental health and/or addiction needs. This community-based service focuses on helping service users achieve their personal goals, enhance their quality of life, and live as independently as possible in the community.

2 x Fixed-Term Full-Time Support Workers - Waimoko, Ranui (until 31 October 2025)

Support people with dual disabilities (mental health and intellectual disability) in a residential service. You'll work with individuals with high and complex behavioural needs, providing dedicated care and support. Previous experience in disability and mental health environments is essential.He Kōrero Mōu | About YouWe want to hear from Support Workers who are grounded, empathetic, and committed to walking alongside people on their wellbeing journeys. Ideally, you'll bring:

Experience in mental health, disability support, youth services or dual diagnosis environments
The ability to remain calm in complex situations and respond supportively
A Level 4 Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or equivalent
A full New Zealand driver licence
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships
A genuine interest in diversity, cultural responsiveness, and supporting people in a way that honours their whakapapa and identity
