We provide an incredibly nurturing and dynamic learning environment for our 360+ neuro-diverse learners, aged 5–21 years, in the base school (Panmure) satellite units in 14 mainstream schools and a community programme for 18-21 year olds in Highland Park. Our 300+ team of educators, therapists, specialists and teacher aides work together in a multi-disciplinary approach to meet the individual needs of every learner, with personalised learning programmes.About Sommerville School:Due to the schools growth we have term time only positions, 25 hours per week, requiring the following attributes:

A full NZ driver's licence and access to a car is strongly preferred

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Support Staff in Schools' Collective Agreement with considerations to previous experience within special education. The base pay rate for Teacher Aides currently ranges from $25.18 - $38.77 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience.
