
Project Engineer - Earthworks - Ō2NL Project

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline; additional certifications in earthworks supervision, soil mechanics, or construction management are advantageous.
- 4+ years of experience in civil infrastructure, particularly in bulk earthworks, roading, or site development, with proven capability in site-based delivery, project coordination, and subcontractor management.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand standards, local council regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Skilled in interpreting design drawings, specifications, and survey data, and experienced in using inspection and test plans (ITPs), compaction testing, and material compliance processes.
- Proficient in project scheduling, cost tracking, and variation management, with experience using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, or GPS-based machine control systems.
- Culturally respectful and committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
