About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects-from concept to commissioning. You'll deliver upgrades and maintenance to bulk fuel storage tanks, pipelines, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as API 653.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, risk management, budgeting, and execution.
  • Manage contractors and service providers to deliver safe, compliant outcomes.
  • Oversee technical reviews including HAZOPs and HITRAs.
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE and other relevant standards.
  • Contribute to asset management planning and engineering documentation.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering (mechanical, civil, or related).
  • Proven experience managing engineering projects in oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with API 653 tank inspection, repair, and maintenance standards.
  • Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent budgeting, reporting, and risk management capabilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience with bulk liquid storage terminals or fuel infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and environmental compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection technologies and asset integrity programmes.
