Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time or part time (negotiable) Nursing Lecturer at our EIT | Te Pūkenga business division located in Tairāwhiti, teaching specific subjects for the Undergraduate Nursing and Health Science programmes.The appointing salary for this role will be between $80,000 and $90,000, dependent on skills and experience.The Nursing Lecturer is based in our EIT | Te Pūkenga reporting to the Head of School, Nursing or Team Lead and will be responsible for:

Teaching specific subjects in the Undergraduate Nursing/Health Science programmes
Liaising and coordinating with other teams and lecturers in Tairāwhiti and Hawkes Bay
Contributing to ongoing development of teaching and learning in the online platform
Participating in the ongoing curriculum development for the Undergraduate Nursing/Health Science programmes as appropriate

He kōrero mōu| About youTo be successful in this role you will have:

A wide range and up-to-date nursing practice experiences
Knowledge of the Nursing Council of New Zealand requirements for the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice
Sound knowledge and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi teaching
An understanding of Kawa Whakaruruhau and current approaches to cultural safety in the delivery of learning
