Health New Zealand is excited to be recruiting for a refreshed executive role to lead our expert and highly regarded People, Culture, and Health & Safety teams.People are at the heart of our healthcare system. This role leads the development and delivery of high-quality, efficient national people policies, systems, and frameworks, supporting their implementation by Regional and District People teams.Key focus areas include:
  • Designing, developing, implementing, and assuring the Health NZ People Strategy in alignment with organisational priorities and goals.
  • Leading the refresh of a values-based organisational culture, with a focus on compassion and patient care that is responsive to individual and community needs.
  • Modernising systems and preparing the organisation for future workforces and ways of working.
  • Driving innovation across recruitment, talent management, industrial relations, payroll, and health & safety.
To succeed in this role, you will be a seasoned senior leader with deep expertise in people leadership, well-versed in all relevant disciplines, and able to demonstrate innovative delivery and strong collaboration across large, complex organisations.This position sits on the Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the Chief Executive.If you are ready to shape the future of people, culture, and health & safety at a national level, we welcome your application.
