About the roleOur dedicated Kitchen team are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef or Cook to join on a Casual basis at our MetFlex Team. You will be responsible for whipping up delicious quality home cooking and designing tasty menus for our residents in a restaurant environment. This position is responsible for the profitable management of the dining operation and experience, ensuring a welcoming and professional customer experience, driving growth, meeting budgets and ensuring food quality and hygiene standards are exceeded.Some of the great things you will be doing

Whipping up delicious offerings in a restaurant environment
Coordinating the kitchen to ensure it operates effortlessly
Maintaining a high standard of food with consistent portion sizes and outstanding presentation
Using your leadership skills to help lead our kitchen team

About you

Proven experience in a similar role
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
Commercial kitchen and or café experience is preferred
Outstanding customer service skills
Food industry qualification
Excellent food hygiene practices and personal presentation
