# OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Traffic Controller to join our clients team. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in various settings, including construction sites, events, and roadworks. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a strong focus on safety will be critical to your success in this role.## Responsibilities

Implement and monitor traffic management plans to ensure the safety of pedestrians, workers, and motorists.
Set up, maintain, and remove signs, cones, and barriers as per the specifications of the traffic management plan.
Communicate effectively with team members, site managers, and the general public to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
Assist in emergency response situations by directing traffic and providing clear instructions to ensure public safety.
Maintain accurate records of traffic incidents and traffic management activities.

## Qualifications

Must have full Class 1 licence
Certification as a Traffic Controller
Must pass pre-employement drug screen and MOJ check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Physical stamina, as the role may require standing for extended periods and working in various weather conditions
