This is a fixed term, full-time role.In this role, you will be a key member of the BreastScreen Aotearoa Programme working across the BSA Review Implementation project portfolio. The Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing contracts and relationships with providers. This includes monitoring, evaluation and reporting on performance, as well as providing feedback to providers. They will also lead, provide strategic guidance, and advise on a wide range of service delivery, training, funding and accountability activities, prioritising and evaluating work generated by key stakeholders.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe NPHS within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.About youOur successful candidate will bring previous experience in contract management, implementation, governance and performance management, ideally with health or other social service providers. Can engage and influence managers and teams to ensure programmes will deliver the agreed business outcomes and benefits. You can build collaborative and positive working relationships with teams and team members across Te Whatu Ora as well as all key stakeholders internally and externally.
A relevant graduate qualification or relevant experience
Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
Strong relationship management skills and experience in engaging with a range of sector groups and agencies
Proven experience implementing quality standards to be able to monitor and measure performance during programme change
Extensive experience in contract management, implementation, governance and performance management, ideally with health or other social service providers
Strong written and communication skills with an ability to take complex information and synthesise it into key messages for relevant audiences
Demonstrable relationship management skills with ability to foster good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership
Experience in a public health or other social service provider organisation
