With over 130 tenants across a diverse range of properties, Jaxx partners with external property managers to deliver high-quality service and performance.As the business has grown, so too has the complexity and scale of its property operations. Jaxx has now reached a pivotal point where an experienced commercial property manager is needed to oversee the portfolio, act as the central point of contact for property management and support the development of long-term asset strategy.You'll work closely with the Managing Director to shape investment decisions, enhance tenant relationships, and ensure the portfolio delivers strong financial and strategic outcomes.What's the role?This is a senior role for an experienced commercial property manager that has broad scope and impact.You'll be responsible for:
  • Acting as the key liaison with external property managers, ensuring proactive service delivery across lease events, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Personally managing 5-10 commercial properties, ranging from single tenancies to small shopping centres.
  • Contributing to asset strategy, including acquisition/disposition planning, development feasibility, and lifecycle costing.
  • Leading financial planning and reporting across the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Overseeing lease negotiations, contract management, and compliance.
  • Mentoring a direct report and ensuring internal systems support effective decision-making and delivery.
What skills and experience do I need?These are our must-haves:
  • Proven experience in commercial, retail, or mixed-use property asset management.
  • Strong understanding of lease structures, Opex provisions, and maintenance contracts.
  • Experience managing large, multi-site property portfolios.
  • Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including external property managers, business owners, consultants and contractors.
These are other skills we'd like you to have:
  • Exposure to asset lifecycle planning and development feasibility.
  • Understanding of seismic risk management and compliance.
  • Experience in strategic planning and investment analysis.
