We are a collaborative and culturally diverse team and look forward to welcoming you as we continue to grow and plan for the future.Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityIn this role that reports to the Charge Nurse Manager, you will;
  • Provide assessment and treatment for Tamariki & rangatahi experiencing acute or enduring mental illness in the community.
  • Hold a case load of approximately 25 people as part of the MDT.
  • The local team is made up of a consultant psychiatrist, consultant psychologist, social workers and registered nurses.
  • Hours of work are 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00.
Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Organise prioritise and manage a caseload including the documentation associated with this.
  • Clear communication with MDT wider team and community partners.
  • Practice with a tangata whaiora and whanau centred approach and be a strong advocate for best practice

  • Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti O Waitangi
  • Registration with your respective professional body.
  • Experience in mental health is preferable but not essential.
  • A current full drivers licence.
