This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil works, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.You'll be involved in:
  • Supporting/Managing the delivery of civil engineering components and site infrastructure.
  • Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of civil works.
  • Lead/assist key interface planning with separate contracts
  • Assisting with construction planning, scheduling, and procurement of civil packages.
  • Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Providing technical input and problem-solving support during construction.
What You'll Bring
  • At least 5 years experience working for a main contractor in Commercial or Civil Construction
  • Solid understanding of NZ civil engineering standards and council requirements
  • Experience working on commercial and civil construction projects, ideally with a main contractor.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to safety and quality.
