Support Worker - part time (30 hours per fortnight) - Miramar, Wellington location

Please note: due to the nature of care involved in this role only female applicants can be considered.

Mō te tūnga | About the roleThe role of a Support Worker involves providing assistance to individuals in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living. This includes tasks like helping them with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific work environment, Support Workers may also assist with individual needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration.Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

Availability to work flexible shifts, including some weekends and sleepover shifts.
Some experience of working as a caregiver is preferred
Be comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
Possession of a full NZ driver's license is a 'must have'.
