Senior .Net Engineer (Contract)
Location: Auckland, New Zealand (Hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and maintain a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) solution using the .NET framework.
  • Implement Server-Driven UI (SDUI) for mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional app team on integrated solutions.
  • Work with GraphQL (Apollo GraphQL, Module Federation) and third-party services.
  • Manage the software development lifecycle using Azure DevOps and GitHub, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure code quality with SonarQube and other security tools.
Experience & Background:
  • Strong proficiency in the .NET framework.
  • Experience with Server-Driven UI (SDUI) development for mobile apps.
  • Expertise in GraphQL (Apollo GraphQL, Module Federation).
  • Solid understanding of Git fundamentals and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Experience with code security tools like SonarQube.
Beneficial Skills:
  • Experience in BFF solution design and architecture.
  • Mentorship or pair-programming experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Dynatrace) and third-party services (Contentful, CommerceTools, Algolia).
  • Experience with AI developer tools (GitHub Copilot) and the Hot Chocolate GraphQL server.
  • Experience with security tools like Orca and Snyk.
