- Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in a 29-bed care home offering rest-home level of care.
- Lead a team of caregivers and nurses to provide the highest quality clinical care
- Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, lead in-service education sessions for staff, and maintain accurate paperwork
- Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement
- Hands-on and visible leader - thrives being on the floor, not behind a desk
- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration
- Leads by example, helps with meds, wound care, and clinical decision-making
- Candidates must be interRAI trained and competent, with confidence in clinical assessments being key to success in this role.
