| - |As a Senior Estimator you will work on diverse infrastructure projects from inception and drive value to your clients through clear commercial visibility and control. You will provide clients intelligent decision-making capability on complex projects by developing robust cost plans and budgets allowing them to navigate risk and achieve the right outcome.This philosophy has seen this business enjoy organic growth and currently expanding their Christchurch team, working across transport, water, energy and major civil structures, they bring a fresh and personalised approach on projects from major public infrastructure work through to small but complex civil solutions for private clients.The Role
Your focus will be on:

Leading cost estimating, budgeting and commercial analysis for infrastructure projects.
Providing quantity surveying services such as procurement strategy, tender evaluations, contract negotiations and value engineering.
Providing project controls expertise when required
Support the wider team with commercial and risk advise

About You

Degree-qualified in civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying
Over 5 years experience in estimating or Quantity Surveying in New Zealand
QS/Estimating experience on Civil Infrastructure projects, including NZ3910
Proven commercial acumen and the ability to manage cost and risk on complex projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Team focused, flexible attitude, with a professional but relaxed approach
