- Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Compile and prepare tenders ensuring that all resources and cost relating to project have been reviewed.
- Maintain regular contact with major suppliers, subcontractors, government authorities, clients and industry consultants to achieve the company's objectives.
- Utilise of industry software to present cost plans and tenders in a clear and concise format.
- Prepare tenders based on various forms of construction delivery.
- Assist the team in negotiating tenders and conditions.
- Collate of cost data directly from industry suppliers, subcontractors and completed projects.
- Monitor project costs and provide cost alternatives as required.
- Degree in a relevant discipline together with experience in estimating and / or cost planning.
- Demonstrated experience in estimating in a senior capacity.
- Understanding of industry construction techniques and proficient skills in industry software.
- Understanding of construction contracts and the resultant cost implications.
- Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the external and internal business environment.
