This is a fantastic opportunity to join our collaborative team working on tenders for a range of interesting projects & clients.The key responsibilities of this position include:

Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
Compile and prepare tenders ensuring that all resources and cost relating to project have been reviewed.
Maintain regular contact with major suppliers, subcontractors, government authorities, clients and industry consultants to achieve the company's objectives.
Utilise of industry software to present cost plans and tenders in a clear and concise format.
Prepare tenders based on various forms of construction delivery.
Assist the team in negotiating tenders and conditions.
Collate of cost data directly from industry suppliers, subcontractors and completed projects.
Monitor project costs and provide cost alternatives as required.

QualificationsThe incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

Degree in a relevant discipline together with experience in estimating and / or cost planning.
Demonstrated experience in estimating in a senior capacity.
Understanding of industry construction techniques and proficient skills in industry software.
Understanding of construction contracts and the resultant cost implications.
Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the external and internal business environment.
