Join us today and be valued for the contribution you'll make in this exciting transformation, and in empowering New Zealand's sustainable future.About the Role:As the Training Lead, you will ensure that all internal users and impacted 3rd parties receive targeted training, leading to high confidence, capability and adoption of our new systems and processes. You will manage and deliver the full learning and capability lifecycle over multiple deployments, including learning strategy and the development, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities, ensuring the users are ready, willing and able to adjust to the new system, processes, and mindsets/behaviours. You will be the decision maker on all training activities, supported by a team of business trainers.Key Accountabilities:
  • Conduct learning needs analysis across all functional areas and process changes
  • Design the learning strategy and framework, including measures of success, for the programme
  • Design an outcomes-based learning curriculum for each role/team undergoing change
  • Work collaboratively with the Change Managers, Business Service Owners, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and others to ensure the learning approach and training delivery is fit for purpose from both the perspective of the project delivery and business as usual requirements
  • Identify the training environment and training data requirements, and manage these for each deployment
  • Ensure business education, training, and job aid materials are created to a high standard
  • Create and manage the schedule for development, approval and publishing of all training materials
  • Manage the training logistics and calendar, including scheduling sessions, co-ordinating invitations, room and resource bookings, training kits etc
  • Evaluate the learning delivery to identify successes, areas of improvement, knowledge gaps, individual needs and levels of comfort, and implement learnings for future deployments
  • Develop business-as-usual processes to ensure the learning approach developed within the programme is successfully embedded into business-as-usual activities and responsibilities after each project phase is complete.
About You:
  • Significant experience in leading training activities for large projects, across the full training lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience in creation of Learning Needs Analysis and Learning Curriculums
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and creation of both classroom and digital/online training content
  • Ability to successfully deliver training material development, classroom and blended training
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field e.g. management, teaching
