This pushes us to do all we can to create a better future for our people, our communities, and Aotearoa New Zealand.Our Opportunity:Reporting to the End User Compute Lead, the End User Compute Engineer role works closely with the Senior End User Compute Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance in addition to participating in Infrastructure solution designs.​​The End User Compute Engineer is a key delivery role that ensures End User Compute and Infrastructure solutions and services:​
  • Are delivered in alignment with Technology needs and business unit expectations​
  • Are effective and efficient, protecting and optimising Technology investment​
​In addition, as an individual contributor, the End User Compute Engineer delivers tasks and services with a strong focus on customer and business unit satisfaction.​Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage and maintain End User Device life cycle replacements by completing device forecasting and ordering to a regular schedule.
  • Promote, support and work to Our Attitude to maintain a High Performance Team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Technology team and partners to ensure the delivery of quality end to end operational services and great customer experiences.
  • Assist with delivery estimation and risk assessment.
  • Identify personal development needs in line with the needs of Technology and the Infrastructure platforms.
We are looking for:
  • Tertiary qualification or similar qualification in technology
  • Sound knowledge of business principles
  • Ability to implement, support and administer enterprise business systems, applications or infrastructure.
  • Experience with applications or information in a large-scale enterprise
  • Ability to translate Information Technology terminology into common language and concepts that may be understood by the business community at large
  • Experience supporting and managing devices using modern tooling such as Autopilot, Intune, and Configuration Manager
