About the role:
Reporting to the Group Manager - Brand, Communications and Engagement, you'll be a key partner across the business delivering communications that bring Northpower's purpose and aspirations to life. Your work will strengthen our employer brand and connect with a wide range of stakeholders.In this role, you'll:
- Support internal and external communications across the organisation
- Create compelling content and campaigns for multiple platforms, including intranet, social media, and media channels
- Transform complex technical information into clear, engaging stories
- Lead the production of Northpower's Annual Report and other key publications
- Manage submissions for external awards, showcasing our achievements and celebrating our people
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to keep our website current, accurate, and engaging, while using analytics to drive improvementsAbout you:
You're a natural communicator who thrives on building relationships and connecting with diverse audiences. You'll be confident in your creative writing and able to adapt your style across different platforms and audiences. To succeed, you'll bring:
- A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 7 years' experience in communications roles
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and editing skills
- Excellent project management and organisational ability
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with communications strategies, digital channels, CMS, and social media
- A collaborative mindset - happy to pitch in with a small team while also working independentlyWhat's in it for you?
