While we work in different groups and on different things, we all strive every day to make the biggest difference we can for our students in our education system.About this role | Mō tēnei tūrangaThis is a fixed-term position until 30 June 2026.We are looking for an experienced Chief Advisor to provide senior strategic thought leadership and subject matter expertise to the Ministry's approach to redress and in response to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in State Care recommendations. The Chief Advisor will play a pivotal role in the development, testing and implementation of the Government's Redress announcements and initiatives, delivering on key workstreams to improve the redress system.This role will work closely with a Senior Advisor Redress Implementation to contribute to workstreams on behalf of the Ministry of Education, alongside other redress agencies and the Crown Response Office.Salary range: $139,346 - $154,370 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.
