
Geotechnical Team Leader – Auckland

- Develop good business relationships with existing and potential, internal and external clients to ensure required project outcomes are met and client satisfaction maintained at a high standard
- Supports in developing new and repeat business within the assigned region - including preparation of proposals and bids for projects. Supports strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Proven project management, investigation, design and implementation of a range of multidisciplinary projects
- Provide guidance to junior design engineers on projects and be able to train and mentor them
- BE Civil, BSc, ME, MSc, PhD or related qualification, specializing in either geotechnical engineering or engineering geology.
- 8+ years industry experience or in consulting.
- Working knowledge of public and private sector
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Specialist geotechnical software skills
- Ability to nurture and develop teamwork within the group
- Proven leadership qualities and team management skills
- Organized in multitasking of self and others and able to meet deadlines
