As a key member of the COO leadership team, the Financial Controller provides enterprise-wide financial oversight, ensuring strong governance, strategic insight, and operational excellence. You'll lead all core finance functions, including financial operations, statutory and regulatory reporting, capital governance, and compliance.You’ll drive transformation through a modern, digital-first finance operating model, embedding tools, systems, and practices that enable faster, smarter financial decision-making. This includes building capability, streamlining processes, and ensuring finance is positioned as a strategic partner across the business.A trusted advisor, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to navigate complex financial issues, provide advice on technical accounting, tax and policy, and manage risk. You’ll oversee cash flow and balance sheet performance, support capital management modelling, and deliver insights that inform decisions at Board, Executive, and business leadership levels.What we’re looking for:
We’re after a strategic and commercially minded finance leader who thrives in complexity and delivers with precision.You will bring:
  • A Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent) and significant experience leading operational finance at scale
  • Substantial experience in a Financial Accounting Manager or Financial Controller role within a large complex organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to achieve improved commercial results
  • Exceptional influencing skills at all levels
  • The ability to quickly identify critical issues in problem solving. Using an analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to also think of creative solutions
  • An ability to facilitate high level trade offs
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills
