We are always on the lookout for talented professionals who share our ethos and have current Workday experience and current certifications.Deloitte's Human Resource Strategy & Transformation practice works closely with clients across their people-related opportunities and challenges to enhance their organisation and workforce performance, productivity and profitability through the development of organisational and talent strategies and programmes to enable business strategies.Job DescriptionThe impact you'll make:Deloitte's HR Strategy and Technology (HRS&T) team are currently seeking an experienced Workday HCM Associate Director, specialising in two or more modules of Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security or Learning.As a Workday Associate Director within Deloitte's HRS&T practice, you will be responsible for leading and delivering functional elements and engagements of Workday HCM across various industry sectors. Ideally you will have the following:
  • Provide architectural guidance of Workday HCM functional and technical capabilities to support client outcomes.
  • Scoping client needs, conducting workshops to gather AS-IS, TO-BE and gap fit analysis, and lead parts of the business process re-engineering requirements.
  • Gathering business requirements and discussing business outcomes with various clients and stakeholder groups.
  • Using your subject matter expertise in Workday HCM to lead and contribute to design, configuration of the system and working with development teams to create technical documentation.
  • Test solutions and perform fit-for-purpose analysis on proposed solutions.
  • Assist our Application Support team to resolve upcoming and escalated service tickets post go live and enhancements requirements.
  • Develop relationships and contribute to sharing ideas, knowledge and development of colleagues and wider community (colleagues, clients and network).
  • Recommending proposals to revise the methods and procedures and redefine job functions.
  • Consistent and ongoing interaction with client subject matter experts.
Practice Development
  • Offering a strong and compelling point of view around functional, integration approaches and design.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of the delivery and innovation.
  • Actively involved in the supporting and growing the Workday practice.
Business Development
  • Playing an active role in pre-sales and bid development
  • Identification of on-sell opportunities through existing client engagements
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the business by delivering sales opportunities
QualificationsYour expertise:As a Workday Associate Director within Deloitte's HRS&T practice, you will be responsible for leading and delivering functional elements of Workday engagements across various industry sectors.Ideally you will have the following:
  • A proven background implementing Workday HCM solutions across a diverse range of clients/industries from design through to deployment. 6+ years Workday HCM experience, including solution architecture, across more than two end-to-end implementations will be highly valued.
  • Certification and experience in at least two of the following Workday HCM modules - Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security or Learning
  • Be a subject matter expert on all things HCM - business processes, best practice and understanding the effects of legislation (ideally NZ, but not mandatory).
  • Business Analysis skills with an eye for detail to complete specifications, documentation, standardisation and operational efficiency at a high level to add tangible value back to our clients.
  • Open communication style which encourages change management initiatives, fosters inclusion and gains trust with stakeholders across all levels internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in cross functional on and offshore teams to help deliver a single vision focused on client satisfaction.
  • Proven experience in business development. Leveraging existing relationships, supporting building new relationships and experience responding to RFPs.
