This vertical integration gives them a unique and competitive edge.The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join their talented team.This is a full-time, permanent role based in Lower Hutt. 40 hours per weekThis position suits a hands-on individual with strong mechanical aptitude, a problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail. You'll be responsible for programming and setting up the press brake machine, overseeing workflow, and ensuring production meets the highest standards.Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain press brake machinery
Program and set up machines to meet production requirements
Monitor workflows and identify/report any issues
Carry out general workshop duties including packing, QA, and inwards goods
Manage consumable stock for your station
Meet tight production deadlines with consistent quality
Ability to interpret technical drawings and client specifications
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Physically fit with a proactive and adaptable approach
Reliable, positive, and a strong team player
Broad knowledge of materials used in manufacturing
Willingness to learn and continuously improve
What's On Offer

$33 to 40 per hour dependant on skills and experience
