Over the years, Drake Medox has grown to be one of the most respected providers of permanent and flexible healthcare professionals and home support services in New Zealand.About the role:We have an exciting opportunity for an experience registered nurse to join our existing team based in Penrose, Auckland. The role involves providing quality rehabilitation and disability support to our clients with complex needs. This role has a wide scope allowing you to practice holistically. Applicants must be based in Auckland with the right to work here.Key responsibilities include:
  • Facilitating efficient and effective community-based support solutions for our clients
  • Completing client related assessments
  • Developing and maintaining person centred individual support plans
  • Managing homecare support packages for clients with disability and/or serious injuries
  • Liaising with external support providers and funders including ACC, DHB and Allied Health services etc.
  • Ensuring our support workers have the right skills, training and support to provide an exceptional level of support to our clients.
  • Delegation and direction of support tasks and medication/interventions to support workers
  • Problem solving to develop innovative and sustainable support solutions
Key competencies:
  • A NZ registered nurse with a current practicing certificate
  • Community nursing with experience in primary health, complex disability and rehabilitation preferred.
  • Full drivers' licence and a reliable vehicle
  • Able to perform autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
