Are you a talented Orthopaedic Surgeon seeking an opportunity to join a highly regarded team in the stunning Wairarapa? If so, we have the perfect permanent role for you with a full time, permanent contract.The orthopaedic team is comprised of 18 permanent orthopaedic specialists, and is to welcome another skilled professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional clinical practice and expertise to their patients.As a team player and clear communicator, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the supervision and instruction of junior medical staff within the orthopaedic service. You will be part of the wider Wellington Orthopaedic Service while being based in Wairarapa, attending teaching, audit, and department meetings with the rest of the team. Additionally, you will receive support from sub-specialty orthopaedic surgeons from Wellington, with opportunities to rotate into Wellington theatres by arrangement.The orthopaedic service extends to the management of major injuries and fractures, as well as treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.If you are vocationally registered in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and have the ability to work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team while consistently delivering high standards of medical care, we encourage you to apply.Preferred Requirements:

Vocational registration in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
FRACS or equivalent qualification or eligibility for vocational registration with the MCNZ
Experience and training in providing consistently high standards of medical care
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Relevant experience in orthopaedics

Remuneration Package
This position attracts a basic salary plus a series of allowances

The basic salary is in the range of NZD 190,000 to 270,000 dollars per annum for a 40 hour week and additional on call duties attract extra allowances.
A relocation package is provided for international medical graduates
study leave allowance is also provided
