You will be out in the field, building strong relationships, solving real business challenges, and influencing change from the ground up.You will have direct exposure to senior leadership, contribute strategic insights to the HR Director, and play a key role in driving performance, engagement, and growth. This role blends autonomy, visibility and development.

You will be a trusted advisor, someone leaders can rely on for honest, courageous conversations and thoughtful coaching. You will help shape a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership:
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with directors and their teams to understand business needs and translate them into HR solutions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development support to leaders, helping them grow their leadership capabilities and navigate complex people challenges.
Workforce planning:
  • Lead accurate forecasting and planning to ensure the right talent is in place to meet business goals.
  • Take active steps to ensure attrition is maintained at acceptable levels.
Absenteeism management:
  • Monitor trends, identify root causes, and implement proactive strategies to reduce absenteeism.
Productivity:
  • Drive and provide insights into sales per FTE and come up with performance improvement plans where needed.
  • Actively engage with Finance, Retail Excellence and Sales to positively influence a store P&L.
Change management:
  • Support leaders through organizational changes with clear communication and people-focused strategies.
About you:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree with Major in HRM.
  • 5-10 years HR experience at a min, HR advisor level (HRBP experience preferred).
  • Strong NZ ER knowledge a must.
  • Experience in remuneration and benefits preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Confidence to engage in courageous conversations and challenge constructively.
  • A coaching approach that builds trust and empowers leaders.
  • Passion for people, data driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
  • Resilient and able to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • 40% willingness to travel.
