Based in either Hamilton or Tauranga, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our General Surgical Technologies portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff in Hamilton, Tauranga and in the Waikato & Bay of Plenty areas.This will be an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales professional looking for a purposeful career in innovation where Medtronic’s Surgical products are used across all surgical approaches to drive clinical efficiency, improve outcomes and are transforming the future of patient care.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targetsResponsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionalsResponsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or servicesPromotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or servicesConducts market research including customers and competitors’ activitiesImplements market development plans/strategies and changes as neededCommunicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and MarketingRequired Knowledge and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing, Business or other related disciplinesMinimum 3 years of sales experience in the devices, pharma or healthcare industryStrong understanding of the New Zealand public and private hospital systemSolutions-focused with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the businessResults-oriented with good organisation and time-management skills, including working independently and unsupervisedAble to prioritise, handle multiple tasks and work under pressureStrong attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skills.
