- Provide strategic leadership and direction in the management of client service delivery and relationships.
- Be involved in the provision of advisory services to clients such as strategic business planning, cash flow modelling and coaching.
- Input into clients with your high level of technical expertise and a a proactive and solution-focused approach that will make a difference to our clients.
- Oversee and review financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents.
- Play a key role in business development, cultivating client relationships, and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment and drive towards our values, which are very important to us.
- Ensure that the technical ability of our team remains current by staying up to date with industry trends, legislative requirements, and best practices to ensure the firm's continued success.
- A Chartered Accountant qualification
- At least six years + experience in the accounting industry (preferably within a business advisory services environment)
- A high-level technical knowledge and business acumen with a knowledge of New Zealand tax laws and accounting standards
- A proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and business development
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to work in a team and motivate others
- Exceptional attitude towards people and tasks and a willing to drive change and continuous improvement
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex financial issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Have a high level of professionalism with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
