About the roleWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our team of rubbish and recycling truck drivers. We call them Collections Operators because not only do they drive the trucks, they do a range of physical tasks from collecting rubbish, sorting glass recyclables or emptying recycling bins.Working Monday to Friday with an early start and finish means you're home for dinner every night and your weekends are free!In this role your focus will be:
Collecting rubbish, glass recyclables and other recycling in accordance with Palmerston North City Council’s rubbish and recycling collections service specifications.
Maintaining your vehicle with regular cleaning, daily inspections, servicing & reporting of any faults in a timely manner to ensure vehicles are fit for purpose
About youIn this role it’s essential that you have a Class 2 licence and a good level of physical fitness. You will also have a can-do attitude, sound driving skills and commitment to safety.In addition, you will have:
