Job DescriptionLooking for your next finance role? Wanting a clear pathway to become a Finance Manager?We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join the Finance team at Publicis Group on a part-time basis, working 3-4 days per week. In this role, you will be responsible for managing month-end processing and reporting, overseeing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with financial controls.On a day-to day you will efficiently and proactively manage tasks ahead of deadline, supporting the wider team and inquiring into bigger picture team outputs and juggling ad hoc queries.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage month-end processing, including accruals, prepayments, and journal processing.
  • Review current month's actuals versus forecasts and analyse variances.
  • Conduct P&L and balance sheet reviews.
  • Upload forecasts, budgets, and client profitability reporting to HFM.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports
  • Coordinate internal and external compliance audits, maintaining documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a register of CSR, FMC, and other group documentation.
  • Provide analysis and commentary on revenue, jobs, WIP, and client profitability, with support from the client finance team.
  • Assist with accounts payable and billing processes as needed.
  • Manage client profitability and utilisation reporting, as well as client retainer reconciliations.
  • Ensure the integrity of the P&L and balance sheet.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with continuous improvement projects.
