Provide input into drafting policy documents, legislation, and guidelines, and provide ad-hoc advice which contributes to legislation, guidelines, and strategic advice that supports key health initiatives and equity outcomes.
Conduct peer reviews to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency in team outputs.
Monitor, report, and evaluate project progress, ensuring successful delivery and completion.
Foster collaboration and contribute to effective implementation across teams and directorates.
Uphold the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, advancing outcomes for Māori and ensuring equity.

Demonstrated organisational skills, with a knack for forward-thinking, prioritisation, initiative, and precision in managing competing priorities under tight deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal-with the ability to simplify complex ideas for various audiences
A relevant tertiary qualification that underpins analytical thinking and policy development
