We’ve created a new senior leadership role to help us live our values every day, in our workplace, our services, and our relationships with whānau.As Pouherenga | GM – Culture & Inclusion, you’ll work along the GM – Service Delivery and CEO to ensure Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori, and inclusive practices aren’t just written into our policies – they’re reflected in how we work, how we serve, and how we connect with our communities.You’ll lead our kaupapa on diversity, equity, and inclusion, making sure our services are safe, cultural grounded, and accessible to everyone, including Māori, Pasifika, Rainbow, disabled, neurodiverse, migrant and refuge whānau. You’ll bring deep cultural fluency, strong relationships with local iwi and hapū, and the ability to work with people at all levels to bring about meaningful change.This role is about influence and action – setting strategic direction, supporting our kaimahi to grow their cultural capability, and ensuring inclusion is embedded in every decision and programme. You’ll also be the face of our C&I mahi in the community, building partnerships across the sector and beyond.Te Manawa Family Services is a specialist family violence organisation with a clear kaupapa: promoting safety, equality, and respectful relationships through therapeutic and educational programmes.
